This Needle felted Dove is part of a continuing diorama that I am currently working on and will house a whole host of many other animals and creatures, all behind glass and situated within the scene. She is fully needle felted and chemically and heat treated so that the core will hold on to all the fibres for many years to come, The legs and beak are polymers with real glass eyes to achieve a more dynamic look.  The corset is also handmade, which is fully boned and custom-made to fit. The wig again was intricately designed and constructed using many different elements that I had experimented with and truly believe this gives her the Georgian styling that I was aiming for.
